HUNTERTOWN – Kyle Ginder just graduated from the University of Indianapolis and she’ll be married in a couple of months, but for her senior honors project she decided to research a topic that leads girls and women down a much different path than the one she has taken.
Ginder, 21, admits she knew little about human trafficking before a friend suggested she make it the focus of her senior project. It’s a broad term that describes the process of enslaving and exploiting children and adults to work in settings that range from sweatshops and farms to the commercial sex industry.

GRABILL – Out-of-town visitors to the community known for its quaint shops and Amish farms will not have to leave town to find a hotel and they will have plenty of home-cooked food to eat while they’re there if the Grabillhaus Essen & Schlafen is built.
Plans call for the 34-room hotel and Amish-style restaurant to be built in the Grabill Country Village, which is home to the town’s grocery store, the Grabill Save-A-Lot. The hotel and restaurant would be built behind Grabill Country Sales, located at 13813 Fairview Dr.
